Rainer Kirchgaessner
Global Corporate Development Officer, ACE Group
Rainer Kirchgaessner joined ACE Group as Global Corporate Development Officer in 2006. He is responsible for all of the company’s strategic and acquisition-related efforts. His areas of oversight include the identification and analysis of new business opportunities, potential acquisitions, and alliance partners, as well as the ongoing review and development of the company’s strategy.
Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Kirchgaessner was Director, Commercial Finance/Business Development/M&A, for General Electric from 2005 to 2006; and Director, Global Corporate Finance, for Deutsche Bank from 2002 to 2005. Other roles held include Vice President, Financial Advisory/M&A, for J.P. Morgan from 2001 to 2002, and from 1997 to 1998; and Principal, Private Equity Investment Fund, for Capital Z Partners from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Kirchgaessner began his career as Practice Expert for McKinsey & Company in 1991.
Mr. Kirchgaessner holds a master’s in business administration from the School of Management at Henley Business School, England, and a Bachelor of Arts from Berufsakademie Karlsruhe, Germany.
