Robert Cusumano
General Counsel, ACE Limited
As General Counsel for ACE Limited since 2005, Bob Cusumano has ultimate responsibility for all legal support to the ACE Group. He also serves as Principal Counsel to ACE Limited’s senior leadership and has executive oversight for ACE’s external affairs operations in Washington, D.C. Mr. Cusumano joined ACE in 1999 as Outside Litigation Counsel.
Prior to joining ACE, Mr. Cusumano was a Partner at Debevoise & Plimpton from 2003 to 2005, a Partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett from 1990 to 2003, and an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett from 1983 to 1989. He began his career in 1983 as an Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
Mr. Cusumano holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College. He is also admitted to the New York Bar and various federal courts.
