The ACE Tempest Re Group oversees the reinsurance operations of the ACE Group.

In Europe, ACE Tempest Re International has underwriting operations in London and Zurich (as well as locations in Sao Paolo and Shanghai) writing numerous classes of traditional and non-traditional reinsurance including aviation, casualty, marine and property treaty reinsurance worldwide.

In London we offer brokers and clients access to the FSA authorised ACE European Group Limited and the Lloyd’s reinsurance market through a division of ACE’s Lloyd’s Syndicate 2488.

Our ACE Tempest Re Zurich office, established in September 2005, provides cover directly to continental European brokers and clients through ACE Insurance (Switzerland) Limited, a Swiss insurance company formed in 2008.

All ACE Tempest Re operations remain committed to working with clients and brokers to create products that are of genuine value and that enable our customers to meet their business goals.

ACE Tempest Re International champions a rational approach to risk assessment and pricing, with an emphasis on actuarial modeling and lateral thinking. The company provides significant risk capacity; underlying exposure information is used to thoroughly evaluate the risks. To achieve this, we work with clients and brokers, providing transparent feedback of analysis and modeling, and an understanding of pricing. Our goal is to equitably share risk and reward based on actuarial risk assessment.
